Virginia Beach Police Officers Slain in Deadly Traffic Stop Incident

Estimated read time 2 min read

Virginia Beach cops shot dead! Two officers, gone. Heartbreaking. It happened Friday night, around 8:31 pm. South Rosemont Avenue, a traffic stop gone wrong. Awful.

Those poor officers. Officer Miller, 37, and Officer Davis, 29. Dedicated. Brave. They served VBPD. Their families… my god. Just devastating.

The killer’s still out there. VBPD’s on it. Working around the clock. The FBI’s involved too. This is huge. They’ll catch him, I hope. Soon.

The whole city’s in shock. People are heartbroken. So much support for the families. It’s amazing to see. Really. Gives you faith.

Incident Details – Kinda Messy Notes

  • Date: Friday, October 27th (I think?)
  • Time: Around 8:31 pm, ish.
  • Place: Edwin Drive, 300 block. Near the beach.
  • Victims: Miller and Davis. Both VBPD. Good guys.
  • Suspect: Still loose. A real creep.
  • Investigation: VBPD, FBI, the whole shebang. It’s a mess.

I talked to VBPD’s spokesperson, Johnson, I think. He’s stressed. Understandably.

Me: What’s up with the investigation?

Johnson: We’re hunting the guy. Every lead, we’re on it. Justice will be served.

Me: How’s the community?

Johnson: Devastated. But also, amazing support. It’s… it’s something.

Me: Support for families?

Johnson: Absolutely. We’re doing everything we can. It’s the least we can do.

Me: Next steps?

Johnson: Catch the killer. That’s it. We’ll update when we can. It’s a nightmare.

Sources: VBPD website, WTKR – check it out. It’s all over the news.

This whole thing… it’s just awful. Two good people gone. But the community’s strong. They’ll get through this. Hopefully. I hope.
